Terms of Service

Note: This is the official English translation. The Traditional Chinese (zh-TW) version is the legal canonical. In case of conflict, the zh-TW version prevails.

By registering or using PuppyChat ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Nature

PuppyChat is an emotional companionship platform centered on voice + text:

• Female users: paid chat / call with verified male companions
• Male companions: provide companionship after passing certification, earn diamonds

Explicit declarations:

• NOT a dating, matchmaking, or romance app
• NOT facilitating offline meetings (any such arrangement is between users only)
• Sexual / suggestive / harassment content prohibited
• Real identity exchange prohibited (anonymity protection)

Violations result in immediate ban with no refund.

2. Eligibility

• Must be 18+ (13+ in regions allowing, with guardian consent)
• Cannot be from US OFAC sanctioned countries
• Male companions must complete Lv1-Lv3 cert before going online

3. Virtual Goods (Coins / Diamonds)

3.1 Coins (female users)

• Purchased via Apple IAP / Google Play Billing (or Telegram Stars on Mini App)
• Used to send messages, voice / video calls, gifts
• NOT exchangeable for cash; NOT transferable; expire on account deletion

3.2 Diamonds (male companions)

• Earned from received messages / calls / gifts (2:1 conversion)
• Withdrawable in USDT (BEP-20) after KYC + 100-diamond minimum threshold
• Payout: T+3 business days, network fee paid by recipient

4. Prohibited Content

• Sexual / suggestive / harassment content
• Solicitation, prostitution, escort services
• Illegal drugs / weapons / violence
• Hate speech / discrimination / threats
• Minors (under 18) targeting
• Fake identity / impersonation / multi-account fraud
• External payment links (bypassing IAP) — App Store violation

Violations: immediate ban + payment forfeit + reported to local authorities if illegal.

5. Refunds

• Apple IAP refunds: Apple's standard policy (request via Apple)
• Google Play refunds: Google's 48 h auto-refund + per-region policy
• Coin / diamond balance: Non-refundable once purchased / earned
• Refunds do not include any benefits already consumed (chat / call records remain)

6. Account Termination

• Voluntary: in-app "Delete Account" → 24 h to process
• By Platform: violations of these Terms → immediate ban without notice
• Effect: PII purged, KYC docs deleted from R2, balances forfeited

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PuppyChat is not liable for indirect / incidental / consequential damages. Total liability limited to amounts paid by you in the past 6 months.

8. Dispute Resolution

• Governing law: Taiwan ROC laws
• Venue: Taiwan Taipei District Court (first instance)
• Pre-litigation: 30-day good-faith negotiation period required

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app + by email 30 days prior. Continued use after effective date = acceptance.
